>>OKCPN Mission Statement

The Open Kingdom Network was formed to further the Lord’s Great Commission by gathering and sharing resources of multiple churches, which adheres to the Reformed Faith with the Westminster Confession of Faith, to plan, multiply, develop, and expand multi-ethnic and multi-cultural churches in North America and the World.

>>OKCPN History:

Open Kingdom Church Planting Network (OKCPN) was founded in 2013. The vision and mission for this church planting network was birthed from a deep desire and passion for our Lord Jesus Christ’s Great Commission. Since 2013, OKCPN has been committed to the planting of churches for the glory of God.

How was OKCPN formed, established and founded? In 2012, Orlando Korean Presbyterian Church in America (OKPCA)’s Session started two church planting projects in Tampa, FL and Melbourne, FL. In the planting of these two new church plants, they worked with the Florida Church Planting Network. From this, there were two results. The first is that the Tampa Church planting project failed due to a broken relationship with the church planter and failed supervising. The second, by God’s grace, the Melbourne Church planting project continued to develop through the church planter’s co-working and coaching relationship. Melbourne OKPCA has since then become particularized. Yet, it was from here in which there was a realization that there was needed a Church Planting Network that matched with our vision.

What is the one major distinctive of OKCPN? Namely, our heart to see truly multi-ethnic and multi-cultural churches planted for Christ and His Kingdom. In this, OKCPN has in a sense a greater commitment to ethnic minorities who are often overlooked from other church planting networks. With all of this, OKCPN was founded in 2013 by current OKCPN President, Rev. Jae Lee (OKPCA). (OKCPN:non-profit organization)
